Now hiring for several positions at our family-owned Turkish restaurant located in downtown Walnut Creek. We are looking for dedicated employees committed to making the restaurant a success and providing the best possible dining experience to our guests.
We are hiring for:
SOUS CHEF — in addition to cooking, the sous chef will be responsible for expediting; advising inventory needs/placing orders; and working with the chef and owners on menu development/improvement. Familiarity with Mediterranean cuisine/flavors a plus, though not a requirement.
LINE COOK/PREP PERSON — should be able to work days, nights, and weekends. Must have good knife skills, experience on grill and saute, a sense of urgency, be organized and clean in the kitchen, and able to keep food waste to a minimum. Previous experience required.
DISHWASHERS — looking for a reliable and punctual person with experience.
BUSSER — looking for a reliable and punctual person with experience.
SERVERS/BARTENDERS — should be able to work days, nights, and weekend. Must be pleasant, professional, and have a passion for providing top notch service. Must also be proficient at up-selling/suggestive selling (liquor, wine, appetizers, desserts, etc.) Previous serving experience required. Wine service experience required. Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails needed.
HOST/HOSTESS— should be efficient, able to handle a steady fast paced operation, have positive attitude & good time management skills. Must be able to multi-task: job description includes working with open table, answering phones, making reservations, printing menus, etc.
